![]() These parts of this game is rather silly! The way the game Works With time going so fast makes the "hardest" experience to feel like an endless eating/freezing simulator. ![]() Or to almost freeze to Death after going from comfy warm, go 500 meters and already start freezing on hands/feets? That is not even Close to realistic. It did not occur to you that some players actually wanted the Challenge to be harder, but avoid the rather silly ingame (Vanilla) difficulty mode? I for one want the Challenge regarding weather and animals etc to be harder, BUT i dont want to get hungry -again- after going 200 meters after eating a full dinner. Sure we can all dream of great things to add to the game but in the end it wouldnt be the same. Messaggio originale di BKMHarry:I think the general feeling is mods would be for the benefit of the player and thus decrease the challenge that the game offers, thus resulting in a boring walking simulator. It's something that needs to be on the short list imo at this point as far as considerations. Because there is no 'end' point for Survival Mode (and possibly Story Mode), there has to be something besides canned peaches and forging arrowheads to keep people hanging around. I can honestly say that once they have finished Wintermute, if the devs don't open it up to modding, they are consciously or unconsciously tossing the game in the round file. There is no denying that other areas have been slighted, and that is where mods would shine. Hinterland has done a phenomenal job with TLD ~ but they are focused (and have been) in certain areas. The good ones only add to the overall game and fit seamlessly rather than just introducing a cheat. One that allows those with some sort of conscience to bury the dead would be awesome.Ī mod in no way has to be a cheat ~ or game breaking. One that allows for picking up and moving furniture, containers, etc. There are endless possibilities as far as crafting otherwise. ![]() I don't really see a good reason to add new firearms unless the borked aiming mechanics are fixed/returned to when they worked. To open it up to modding would ruin that.Īfter several years and thousands of hours played, and no real interest in Story Mode (although I will play it through), the special and unique is not quite enough.Įxpanding cooking into something that is survival worthy (new foods including canned/boxed goods, new plants, new animals) would do justice to the new cooking system.Įxpanding crafting in all areas (a simple spear, a hat, blankets, baskets, tools, etc.). I don't feel this game would benefit from modding. Messaggio originale di Crumpets:I'm sorry but I completely disagree.
